Overview
These plan policies are part of the Terms of service between you and Black Zero LLC, doing business as Black Zero Labs. They apply to every plan on the Plans page.
All prices are early-access prices, subject to change. Every plan covers the whole Black Zero Labs suite: apps are added to the plan you already have as they open. What each plan includes is confirmed at launch.
What each plan includes
Every plan works with the AI you already use. There are no AI usage fees from us: your AI app bills you directly, under its own terms.

Creator$19 /month
For teachers, tutors and solo creators. Teachers and tutors making animated lessons for their classes. Solo creators running a lesson or explainer channel on their own.

Fair use
Each plan is meant for the people it's made for, using the apps to make their own work. Rendering happens on your own computer, and your projects live on it.
Where a feature runs on our servers, such as sharing projects or reviewing work with a team, please use it as you normally would for your own projects. If an account's use is far beyond normal and affects the service for others, we will contact you first to find a fix, such as a better-suited plan, before limiting anything.
Fair use never applies to the AI you connect: it's your own AI app, and we don't meter it.
Seats
Free, Creator and Studio are for one person each. An account and its plan can't be shared between people.
Team is priced per seat, per month: one seat for each person on your team. [Minimum seats: none, or the smallest number of seats]. The person who manages the plan can add or remove seats at any time:
- an added seat is available straight away, and is charged for the rest of the current billing period on a [prorated] basis;
- a removed seat stays available until the end of the current period and is not charged again after that;
- a seat can be moved from one person to another when someone leaves the team.
Students and education
Students get 50% off every paid plan (Creator, Studio and Team), billed monthly or yearly.
Eligibility: you must be a student currently enrolled at a school, college or university. We verify it with your school email address: sign up or confirm with that address, and the discount applies to your plan. We may ask you to confirm it again from time to time, and the discount ends when you are no longer a student.
The student discount is for your own learning and your own work, not for commercial client work. It can't be combined with other offers.
Teachers, tutors and schools are who we build for first: Creator suits individual teachers and tutors, and Team suits schools and academies working on shared projects.
Billing cycles
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, starting on the day you choose the plan, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Monthly prices are on the Plans page. [Yearly price: the price of each plan billed yearly].
We email a receipt for every payment. If a payment fails, see Failed payments.
Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of the current billing period on a [prorated] basis, and the new price from the next period.
- Downgrades, including to Free, take effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then you keep everything in your current plan. The part of the period you've already paid for isn't refunded.
- Moving between Team and a one-person plan follows the same rules. When a Team plan ends, its seats end with it.
Your projects stay on your computer whatever plan you're on. Features that belong only to a higher plan stop working after a downgrade.
Price changes
These are early-access prices, and they may change before or after launch. A price never changes during a billing period you've already paid for.
If the price of your plan changes, we will email you at least [30] days before the new price applies. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel or change plans before then, as set out in the Cancellation policy.
Taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars and [exclude] sales tax, VAT, GST and similar taxes. Where we are required to collect tax, it's added at checkout based on your location, and shown on your receipt.
If you buy for a business, you may be able to add a tax ID at checkout so tax is handled under the rules for business purchases where you are.
