Overview
This policy explains how to cancel a paid Black Zero Labs plan (Creator, Studio or Team) with Black Zero LLC, doing business as Black Zero Labs. It is part of our Terms of service. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, in either of these ways:
- in your account, under [Account settings > Plan];
- by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account.
To stop the next renewal, cancel before your current billing period ends. We confirm every cancellation by email. If you don't receive a confirmation, please contact us.
What happens when you cancel
- Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
- You won't be charged again.
- At the end of that period, your account moves to the Free plan.
- The part of the period you've already paid for isn't refunded, except as set out in the Refund policy.
Your projects stay yours
Your projects are open folders on your own computer, so cancelling never deletes them. You can keep opening them on the Free plan. Features that belong only to your paid plan stop working until you choose a paid plan again.
On a Team plan, shared projects stay with each member's own copy. Before you cancel, make sure everyone has the files they need.
Team plans and seats
Only the person who manages a Team plan can cancel it. Cancelling ends every seat at the end of the current billing period.
To keep the plan with fewer people, remove seats instead of cancelling. A removed seat stays available until the end of the current period and is not charged again. See Seats in the plan policies.
Changing plans instead
If your plan doesn't fit any more, you can switch to another plan instead of cancelling. See Upgrades and downgrades.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we email you and try again. If it still hasn't gone through after [7] days, your account moves to the Free plan until the payment is made. Your projects are not affected.
When we end a plan
We may end a plan if the account seriously or repeatedly breaks the Terms of service. If we end a plan for any other reason, such as no longer offering it, we will tell you in advance where we can and refund the unused part of the period, as set out in the Refund policy.
Coming back
You can choose a paid plan again at any time, at the price shown on the Plans page then. Early-access prices are subject to change, so the price may differ from the one you had before.
